I cannot seem to stop buying cookbooks. These are some of my favourite ones:
1) Cooking with My Indian Mother-in-Law
It gives you the basics of Indian cooking, including a brief introduction of the key ingredients commonly found in the cuisine. I’ve tried a number of the recipes and they are simply delicious. Very home-style, healthy and wholesome.
2) Cook with Jamie
It’s a good guide for beginners. Due to the nonavailability of many ingredients called for in this book in where I live, I’ve not been able to try as many recipes as I wish. But the chicken in the tinfoil tray recipe is Amaaaaazing.
3) How to Cook Everything: Simple Recipes for Great Food
Mark Bittman doesn’t just show you how to COOK everything, he tells you how to prepare everything and what everything is. This is now my new go-to book for ANYTHING.
